Being Mom to three teenagers and one overly-active nine-year-old boy, it's no wonder I'm part sports-fanatic, chocoholic, wine lover (not whine - Geez, Louise), and reside in my very own Geekdom. I call it Scary Sheri's Maze of the Mystic!
No, not really. I've never given my geekdom a name. That's your job. So to help you out, I'm giving you a few clues to stuff you'd there.
BEAKER ~ He's my guide.
And he's so dang cute!
But he always scares my breakfast.
I can be a tad warped at times.
Aliens are always welcome. Attire is your choice.
The only requirement for entrance into my Geekdom is to accept the mantra...
...and you will do just fine.
Have you come up with a name for my Geekdom?
Melanie Schulz, and,
of course, Matt MacNish!!
Cool Pinterest pics! I love the stuff I find on there!

The Attire shoes look to be the last shoes you'll ever wear if you trip:)
ReplyDeleteWow! Cool pictures. Love the warped one.
ReplyDeleteHA! This is great. Love Beaker! And those shoes--WOW!
ReplyDeleteHi, blog hopping and stumbled upon your beautiful blog.
ReplyDeleteCool post.
Thanks

I wouldn't even know where to begin to name your geekdom. it sounds like you have several plates full just keeping up with (dare I say it) boys!
ReplyDeleteHow'd you know????? LOL
DeleteHmmm. Wonder if I can make my son's eggs look like that this morning. :D
ReplyDeleteI know! Gets you to thinking, huh??? My brain went all-geekoid over that one.
DeleteI'm not sure a name could do justice to all that. :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE BEAKER. HE IS MY HERO.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you're Pinterful! But we're nowhere near half way, you know... just over a quarter - nearly a third. Not half way till next Monday! You see, I'm geeky with numbers :)
ReplyDeleteHappy A to Z-ing

Excellent! Hey, I'm a total word-nerd, and proud of it. Let your geek shine, eh?
ReplyDeleteThose are awesome! I'm a huge Beaker fan. He's one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteBtw, those shoes look dangerous. lol
Beaker seems to be quite popular!
DeleteI love Beaker, though I always felt a little bit bad when he would get blown up! Oh and those shoes are to die for - not that I could walk in them of course :)
ReplyDeleteLovely geekiness . . . and, yes, joining a mad group is a perfect fit for me.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! Those shoes ...
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are scaring me...
ReplyDeleteI remember Alf! He ate cats, right (or wanted to)?
ReplyDeleteAnd Beaker will always have a special place in my heart.
But truly, you don't need crazy things around to have a mad house with 4 kids!! I'm always in awe of all you do.
How about Sheri's Insanitorium (cause I like making up new words?)
My own names are hard to come up with, but I love glimpsing into your geekdom!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are awesome.
ReplyDeleteLove your name for it! And hey geeks are cool nowadays. I can def see the appeal to pinning cool pics. Maybe someday!
ReplyDeleteCheers to the geekdom!
ReplyDeleteWith those shoes, geek-chic is going to be all the rage this season....
ReplyDeleteOh, I love your quote!! Thanks so much for stopping by.
DeleteHappy A to Z!!
I love Beaker and all the Muppets. I'm on and off with Pinterest. I found it really helpful for decorating ideas when I wanted to redo my living room, but I mostly use twitter for my social media and only dabble on pinterest. It's fun though!
ReplyDeleteStopping by for A to Z! Here's mine: A Girl and her Diary
Pinterest gets all my creative juices flowing. Makes me think, you know. LOL Thanks so much for visiting!! Hopping over to see you...
DeleteOh....I fit in here perfectly!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't have a name for it but I love it! I'm a Beaker fan, too, but Rolf was always my favorite Muppet. And Snuffaluffagus inspired my first ever novel. And I have a 9-year-old, too. Geez, Louise, we have a lot in common!
ReplyDelete-Vicki
I don't have a name either but I do love your motto! Couldn't write as well if I wasn't mad!
ReplyDeleteBEAKER!!!!
ReplyDeleteFun post.
Heather
Those shoes are kind of scary, but in a good way. :) I remember Alf; he was a lot more entertaining than some of the people on reality TV today, though I admit that I do watch some of those reality shows. (I draw the line at the Kardashians and the Housewives, though.)
ReplyDeleteYou are dead on about reality TV today. Alf would totally rock them out of the stratosphere!
DeleteAh, Pinterest! Your name? Mindwhirls. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by yesterday on my virtual meltdown.
ReplyDeleteOk, this proves what I've known for a long time: I need to get savvy about Pinterest. Wanna hear something pathetic? It confuses me. There. I said it.
ReplyDeleteThat is not pathetic. It took me a while to find value in it. But once I did, I fell in love! It is the quickest social media fix I know of and it always inspires me, whether it be for a novel, picture book, or blog post. :)
DeleteI love that bookcase.
ReplyDeleteBeaker wasn't my favorite muppet, but he was interesting.
