Gratitude & A Writer's CREED

Today is a monumental Monday, for me anyway. I'm taking the day off from blogging to continue editing the second draft of my MG. But I couldn't leave you high and dry. So here's a few reminders:

  • I'd love you to join in with my blog hop scheduled to take place March 3rd to March 5th. All you need to do is watch the video I uploaded and share how watching it affected your attitude of gratitude. Tell us how you've changed and what you're grateful for. You can post any of those three days. You can still sign up HERE.

  • There is still plenty of room on my Writer's Rebel CREED for 2014. All you have to do is add your name and link to the linky list HERE and snatch the CREED badge. Post it wherever you know you'll need a reminder of support and encouragement to keep on writing.
Have a wonderfully productive day! See you on Wednesday.

  1. Good luck on your editing, Sheri! I'm also working on my second draft today. Phew! I never thought I would get that book done, and I'm so excited to dig into the second draft and make it better. Losing nine school days to ice and snow this winter have enabled me to get this book written, but boy am I going to hate it in June!

    1. Thank you. But a funny thing happened last night ... My 10yr-old decided to attend a birthday party out of town for a friend, today. My freshman daughter needs a dress for a high school dance. So you do the math. Guess what I got to do today instead of writing. Yup, travel over an hour to the mall to dress shop. It was a good day, though. :)

And I hear you about June. My kids will be in school probably until July. :(

    1. Thanks about the Creed. Feel free join in!

And funny thing about writing, today. I completely forgot my kids were on school vacation, this week. School vacation = no writing for me.

    1. Haha! Thanks, but kid #3 (freshman in high school daughter) thought my time would be better spent going out of town to purchase her 'dress' for the next high school dance. At least we bought a dress.

  4. I was going to say 'enjoy the revision' but it looks like your kids cramped your style! lol

    1. OMGosh! I know. I should have known hoping to write was just a dream. LOL But on the bright side, we did purchase a dress. It's her first high school 'dance' dress, so all is good. It was actually a nice mom/daughter day.
