Sounds good! I think environmentally conscious stories are a good idea, especially when aimed at youth, as they're the most receptive to it, and it's a cause they can sometimes have power to do something about.
Stories about animals are some of my favorites. When they're mistreated, I get really angry. Your book sounds like a great story. Congratulations, Bonnie. Best of luck to you.
