*If you’ve landed here during your adventure, skip all this
and go below.
*If you’re wondering what’s going on, go HERE-the 1st stop on the blog tour- for the beginning of your adventure! And may The Creator bless you on your journey.
Your story:
You run west,
deeper into the forest. The cave is set back into one of the large hills. All
sounds of life seem to have left this area, and you find it odd that you
haven’t run into any of your companions.
A wolf howls.
It’s far from where you are, but you worry about Ella. “At least she’s not
alone,” you whisper.
The trees in
this area grow close together, shielding the moonlight there is. You take the
netted ball that hangs from your belt and hold it up. Inside are fireflies. A
warm glow spreads around you, illuminating the area. It’s just enough to see
the path in front of you and the cave entrance.
Slowly, you walk into the cave. Light from your
fireflies bounce off the rocky
walls. A slithering sound followed by a slosh,
slosh, tells you that you’re not alone.
A) You run out. You’re not in the mood to fight off a giant centipede, and there’s the fact it can eat you. Go HERE.
B) You’ve come this far, time to muster that courage your father always talks about. Go HERE.
Description: Hopeless he'll never be more than the boy who didn't save
his brother, 17-year-old Avikar accepts his life as the family stable boy,
trying to forget the past. But when his sister, Jeslyn, is kidnapped, the
thought of losing another sibling catapults him on a desperate quest. With his
best friend by his side, and using the tracking skills he learned from his
father, he discovers Jeslyn has been taken, kidnapped by one Lucino, the young
lord of Daath, a mystical place thought only to exist in fables.
And Lucino has plans for Jeslyn.

ReplyDeleteHey Sheri! xoxo
ReplyDeleteSuperb idea for a bloghop. (Wish I would have known about it) I love it when writers come together and write parts of story together to make one grand adventure.
Smooches and hugs pal.
Eliza's blog tour idea was rather genius. It makes it so interesting!
Deletexoxoxo back at you, Robyn!
What a great idea, but that's nothing new. You always have great ideas. I'd participate, but I've vowed to take May off to regroup and I'm already three days late in following through with that vow. Have a great time.
ReplyDeleteTotally understand, C.Lee. You know I heart U!!
DeleteThis is great -- way to help out a fellow writer. I always enjoyed those "choose your own adventure" books as a kid. (I wasn't allowed to play videogames.)
ReplyDeleteS. A. This is a fun blog. I read one of this type before and really enjoyed it as well. Thanks for sharing it. I nominated you for another award. Just couldn't resist this one. Please go to www.dhdunne.blogspot.com to find out more.
