Well, I lived this past weekend. As most of you know, I'm a former dancer, who...still dances. My daughter dances as well. We were in three shows this past weekend, which gave me a much needed break from the hustle of writing, making my brain concentrate on something else.
I'm going to share a few photos with you. Now, don't laugh.... And no, I didn't include any images of me in a costume. ;D
Photos from L to R: Kate and Miss Heather (dance teacher), Kate, Kate & her assistant, Kate and Mac, Kate & Me, Kate & a group of friends, Kate, and Kate & Lizzy!! Too cute! |
Have a fabulous weekend. Be sure to come check out what I have to say on Monday about my experience tackling the A to Z Challenge!!
You were both in those shows? How fun for you and your daughter!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! The stage is so much fun. I'm not involved but my daughter loves drama.
ReplyDeleteHow fun! And the pictures are beautiful! What a fun thing to do with your daughter!
ReplyDeleteI love your dancing collage! And to have something special you do with your daughter is awesome!
ReplyDeleteHow fun that you and your daughter have this in common. I hope my daughter and I can do things like this together when she gets a little older.
ReplyDeleteOh, and I got your comment on my blog. I'm up for an interview anytime, Sheri. You rock!
'K, Kelly. I'll work something up!!
DeleteLove this. How awesome your daughter loves to dance too.
ReplyDeleteThat is very cool. I thought you did an awesome job with it.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could dance. But alas I can't, unless you count Wii Just Dance 3. Then I'm an awesome dancer according to the game. :D
Wow! You not only have creative fingers but toes, too. Impressive.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is amazing. How old is she? My 10yo finally talked us into letting her into hip-hop dance. She's loving it.
ReplyDeleteKate's been dancing since she was three. She's studied at dance conventions in NH; I did that in junior high and high school but in New York. So glad your daughter is loving dance. Hip-hop is so awesome. It allows a dancer to find who they are. ;D
DeleteThat's so neat!! You two are fantastic, it looks like! That's cool you have another way to be creative/artistic when you need to let your brain relax away from writing.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. I just love that you can do that with your daughter. My daughter is three and we dance the Dora "we did it!" LOL. The pics are awesome too!
ReplyDeleteYou and your daughter are so beautiful! These pictures were such a great way to start the weekend. Thanks for sharing with us! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteAww! That's so awesome you and your daughter dance together. Love the pics!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the photo montage! Looks like the dancing performance was a great success!
ReplyDeleteI love it! The collage is awesome, and your daughter is gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteNice job on the collage SA. Dancing is always fun whether it's professional or personal.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Everyone looks like they're having so much fun. I always admire dancers. They're so graceful. When I was a kid, we square danced a lot. Other than that, I'm a klutz. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that's fantastic! My only dancing experience (of the recital variety) was when I was five, but I did gymnastics later, so have a ton of admiration for the strength, skill and coordination of dancers. It's great you and your daughter share it, too.
ReplyDeleteSheri, How wonderful! The shows, spending time with your daughter, and the photo collage. I envy you. I always wanted to dance. I am so glad you're able to continue to enjoy it with your daughter.
ReplyDeleteSo nice of you to say! It really is a nice way to make memories. ;D
DeleteVery cool, I like watching my son play soccer but I don't get to be on a team with him.
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful thing you can share with your daughter AND participate in with her. Sounds like you guys have a lot of fun together :)
ReplyDeleteVery cool, Sheri! i wish I had your energy. :D
ReplyDeleteAw! Looks like a fantastic time. Wonderful photos!
ReplyDeleteMaking the rounds after the A to Z Challenge to say hello! I think you did a great job with those photos.
