Zzzombies for a Featherbrained Friday!!

As I mentioned last week, I have like (yes, I just used 'like.' It's Friday, and I regress back to the '80s on Fridays), a bazillion book reviews and Graffiti Promotion author, book, and/or character promos to release. So, the responsible action I should take is to release one today.

Um...yeah. Nope. Not happening.

Want to know why?

Of course you do.

I saw this movie trailer yesterday and just had to share. The moment I finished watching it I knew this story will be one our YA and even MG writing community will chat about, dissect, and study the structure, world building, and character development for some time to come.

Why is that?

Because when I began watching it, the movie looked so dang lame in that my-husband-rented-another-stupid-flick sort of way. But I kept watching, and something about the second half of the trailer intrigued me.  The idea of emotions and true feelings changing a person is a great concept, universal, and what we all look to inject into our writing. Now, the real test will be in the How the material is delivered. Guess we'll see...

Anybody up for catching this flick when it's released?

  1. That was so lame it was actually funny, verses the 'OMG I'm so not going to watch that' lame. I would probably rent it, unless it got decent ratings.
