Something magnetic happened to me when I became engrossed in those settings--thus, my word for the day: OSTENTATIOUS.
I remember when I began writing about five years ago, ostentatious was one of those words I'd read before but never really examined. It was one of those words that intrigued me and made me wonder what other words were out there that I would find moving.
Staying true to my A to Z Challenge theme of "What I learned from Pinterest", I'm highlighting anything I found on Pinterest that I feel has that over-the-top feel to it.
Fashion
Beverages
Diamonds
Yes. Those are real diamonds on that pink set of lips. WOW! So, what have you seen, tried, or heard of that you'd categorize as OSTENTATIOUS?
Melanie Schulz, and,
of course, Matt MacNish!!
SPLATTER ALERT: I'm on a family vacation until the 22nd, so I won't be surfing the blogosphere. I'll do my best to catch up when I return. Have fun!!

I have a friend who is the epitome of ostentatious. So much so that unfortunately I've lost interest in spending more time with her.
ReplyDeleteI must be getting old cuz things are my losing interest. Lol
Great word!
Great choices. That's a word to consider but not something you want to be.
ReplyDeleteOooh. I want lip gloss like that. Now that would leave interesting lip prints on a guy's cheek. :D
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love these outrageous, no, OSTENTATIOUS photos!
ReplyDeleteWow those are great pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had a lot of fun finding them on Pinterest.
DeleteI really appreciate you stopping by! (Sorry for the late response. Just returned home from vacation.)
Those are some ostentatious pictures, Sheri!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures! Love the lips - although I can't imagine what it would cost to have real diamonds on your lips. :D
ReplyDeleteIs that one woman wrapped in bubble-wrap?
ReplyDeleteDiamonds on lips? Really? How ostentatious!

Thank you all for stopping by! I'm still on vacation with my family. Having a blast in the sun and sand. I'll catch up with you all starting next Tuesday. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat, interesting blog. Ostentatious is an impressive word. I think we ought to use it more often.
ReplyDeleteI am so much the opposite of ostentatious...but I love that word! Gotta get me that HULK drink! :)
